Gaming on a phone is a thoroughly enjoyable experience, but our cars are shipping with ever-growing infotainment screens. Thanks to Tesla and its kin, a massive touchscreen-only interface for your climate control, navigation, and entertainment has become the norm. They pack a processor good enough to game on too, but you could get by with gaming on Android Auto as well, since your phone would supply the processing power, and the vehicle is merely an interface. In the past few years of driving an EV, I’ve spent my fair share of time waiting at charging stations, and sitting through gridlocked rush-hour traffic.
