I ditched Portainer for Dockhand and I regret not doing it sooner
Docker is an integral part of my self-hosted journey because I moved from conventional tools to an organized, containerized setup. Doing so with Docker is a cakewalk because you can isolate one service from others and never encounter deployment or launch issues. I learned the arcane art of Docker containers by running simple commands and creating compose files. It was empowering but cumbersome to tackle, and Portainer served as a perfect tool to do most of the container-related tasks via a GUI interface.
