I ditched my 5800X3D for a 9800X3D and learned these 3 lessons the hard way
As someone who owns the RTX 4090, I've always found my Ryzen 7 5800X3D to be somewhat limiting, even though it was one of the best CPUs available when the card came out in 2022. It was still a big improvement over my old 5900X in gaming, especially since it increased my GPU usage across the board, but I always felt like it couldn't fully keep up with what my 4090 was capable of. That's what pushed me to bite the bullet and finally upgrade to AM5 despite the outrageous RAM prices.
