Modern laptops are getting less repairable, and my 12-year-old laptop proves it
If you have got a new laptop in the last few years, you must have noticed that most modern models lack repairability, something which was largely the norm until a decade ago. I still have a 12-year-old HP laptop (HP ProBook 640 G1), and it's clearly more repairable than both of my newer upgrades: a Dell 2-in-1 and a MacBook Air. And that's perhaps the only reason I still have it.
