I like a straightforward, simple app store that makes finding and downloading apps easy, but the number of times the Microsoft Store has outright crashed or locked up on my Windows 11 PC, especially when updating apps, is getting a bit out of hand. Thankfully, Microsoft is offering an alternative way to install apps from its official store — a basic command-line interface.
