The Nuki Smart Lock’s pricing history is a bit confusing. It originally launched for $159.99 when we reviewed it in July 2025. Months later, the company raised the cost to $199.99 while addressing some of our major criticisms, namely that a paid subscription ($5.90 per month) was no longer necessary to remotely unlock the Nuki over Wi-Fi, or to receive lock activity notifications. By purchasing one now, you’re getting the best-ever price with all of the features we wish were available at no cost from the beginning.For what it’s worth, you never needed to pay for the subscription to get access to some of the Nuki Smart Lock’s best features. As mentioned earlier, it supports a Matter-over-Thread connection, which is free to use (assuming you have a Matter hub and a Thread border router) and yields huge battery savings compared to controlling the Nuki Smart Lock solely over Wi-Fi.

I'm constantly copying prompts, AI responses, code snippets, research, and links while switching between my desktop, laptop, and phone. My clipboard manager still does a good job of remembering everything I copy, but that's no longer my biggest problem. These days, I need that content to be available wherever I'm working next. After looking for a better solution, I came across OctoClip. It combines clipboard syncing with simple file transfers, which turned out to be a much better fit for the way I work today.

I bought the new Steam Controller with the expectation that it'd be the last gamepad I'd ever need, and the hardware makes a great case for that. While there are controllers out there that combine a couple of the elements of what Valve has done, none of them have full parity with the Steam Controller. The trackpads are great, the gyro is really solid, and the traditional gamepad elements like the buttons and joysticks are as good as it gets.
