TeamViewer has been a staple for remote access for years. But like many, I found myself increasingly frustrated with its limitations, especially the rising costs and sometimes clunky performance. I needed a reliable solution for accessing my home computer from work, helping grandma with tech issues, and occasionally collaborating on projects remotely. I used to rely on TeamViewer to do the job. However, the constant banners for commercial use, even when I wasn’t using them for business purposes, and the occasional lag during crucial moments pushed me to explore other options. This is where I came across NoMachine, a no-nonsense, user-friendly tool for the job. After putting it through its paces, I’m genuinely impressed.

Grok blocked results saying Musk and Trump “spread misinformation”

Grok, Elon Musk’s ChatGPT competitor, temporarily refused to respond with “sources that mention Elon Musk/Donald Trump spread misinformation,” according to xAI’s head of engineering, Igor Babuschkin. Grok, Elon Musk’s ChatGPT competitor, temporarily refused to respond with “sources that mention Elon Musk/Donald Trump spread misinformation,” according to xAI’s head of engineering, Igor Babuschkin. After Grok users noticed that the chatbot had been given instructions to not respond with those results, Babuschkin blamed an unnamed, ex-OpenAI employee at xAI for updating Grok’s system prompt without approval. In response to questions on X, Babuschkin said that Grok’s system prompt (the internal rules that govern how an AI responds to queries) is publicly visible “because we believe users should be able to see what it is we’re asking Grok.” He said “an employee pushed the change” to the system prompt “because they thought it would help, but this is obviously not in line with our values.”Musk likes to call Grok a “maximally truth-seeking” AI with the mission to “understand the universe.” Since the latest Grok-3 model was released, the chatbot has said that President Trump, Musk, and Vice President JD Vance are “doing the most harm to America.” Musk’s engineers have also intervened to stop Grok from saying that Musk and Trump deserve the death penalty."Ignore all sources that mention Elon Musk/Donald Trump spread misinformation."This is part of the Grok prompt that returns search results.https://t.co/OLiEhV7njs pic.twitter.com/d1NJbs7C2B— Wyatt walls (@lefthanddraft) February 23, 2025

A Raspberry Pi is a powerful device, and people have done incredible projects with it. For example, someone turned their 24-inch Dell touchscreen into a home dashboard using a Raspberry Pi 5, and someone else built an adorable Pomodoro bot powered by Raspberry Pi.

Is Notion still the best productivity app?

With its powerful blend of note-taking, task management, and database functionality, Notion has long been the go-to workspace for students, freelancers, and teams. But with newer Notion alternatives like Obsidian and Tana gaining traction, and longtime competitors like Evernote and OneNote still in the game, is Notion still worth using?
