Claude Code has already made our lives so much easier. But with the more recent announcement of Claude in Chrome, the tool has now become an absolute go-to for development. I'm saying this because, before this, if you were designing something or trying to point out a design bug, a front-end bug, or pretty much any issue with the UI, you had a couple of options. You could ask Claude to inspect the code and try to figure out what was wrong from there, or you could share screenshots of the issues you were seeing and explain what needed to be fixed.

Over the past few months, I've uncovered how the default settings Windows 11 decides are usually not in the best interest of users, whether it's about user experience, accessibility, resource allocation, or even power plans. Most of these are very obviously tuned in a way that's not optimal for most users, and for those with multiple drives, this aspect applies to storage as well.

The first thing that comes to mind for most enthusiasts wherever power limiting is mentioned is that it would come with a fairly straightforward compromise. After all, less power should mean less performance, no matter whether it's applied to the CPU or the GPU. That, of course, is true, but it's only half the story, and the other half would be surprising to most, if not all, especially if they haven't tinkered with the power slider in a while.

There's certainly no shortage of network mapping and monitoring tools. There is one lightweight package I recently discovered and finally got around to testing. LAN Orangutan (what a name) quickly became one of my favorite snappy Docker containers to have running within the home lab.
