The company has announced that it's prepping some updates on its projects via a live stream on its website. While we're unsure as to what the company will announce, we now know what won't be. The CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, has made a "de-announcement" of several potential ChatGPT features, so now we know what not to expect on Monday.

Apple announced the all-new M4 processor alongside the only device sold with the chip, the 2024 iPad Pro. This marks the first time Apple has launched a new processor with a handheld device and not a Mac as well as an M-class processor instead of an A-class. What this means is the new iPad Pro launching later this month will be one of the most powerful Apple devices, aside from the Mac Pro of course. I owned an original iPad, which launched in 2010, and haven't had another tablet since. Watching the iPad Pro launch has made me reconsider this stance.

Screenshot: Ghost of Tsushima Steam, Epic, and Green Man Gaming are reportedly canceling and refunding preorders of the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima for buyers who live in over 170 countries without PlayStation Network access, reports Eurogamer. That’s despite the fact that arguably the most important part of the game is still playable without PlayStation Network account linking. The news comes after Valve abruptly delisted the game in those countries yesterday. Ghost of Tsushima only requires PSN account linking for its Legends multiplayer mode, a requirement the single player campaign is exempt from, the game’s developer went out of its way to say in a recent post. If you have a lot of pictures, messages, and files that you don't want to lose, backing up your devices is crucial. For iPhones, this process is very simple. There are two ways of going about it: you can either create a full backup on your computer or just use the iCloud backup feature. Using your PC and Mac to back up iPhone data is a longer process, so we'll be concerning ourselves with the iCloud approach.

The Raspberry Pi 5 is the fastest Raspberry Pi made yet. Its CPU runs at 2.4 GHz compared to the 1.8 GHz of its predecessor, the Raspberry Pi 4, and its GPU runs at 910MHz, over 80% faster than the RPi4. But it could be faster.

Following multiple high-profile attempts by Beeper and Sunbird to get iMessage working on Android, there's more interest in the possibility now than ever before. Of course, that's because iMessage is one of the best messaging apps out there, but it is limited to Apple devices. Beeper somehow managed to reverse-engineer iMessage with Beeper Mini, but that was quickly shut down. Now, even Beeper Cloud doesn't support iMessage natively, instead choosing to list it as an experimental feature. But there are other ways to get iMessage on Android, and one of them is BlueBubbles.

The best laptops are more powerful than ever, and that means most people won't need a desktop computer in 2024. Hooking a laptop up to an external monitor, docking station, and a good set of peripherals will do the job as good or better than having a dedicated desktop PC. But what if you only want to use your laptop, specifically a MacBook, with external monitors? In that case, the display only gets in the way. Enter the wonderful world of "headless" MacBooks. In other words, laptops with the display ripped off. There are surprisingly a handful of reasonable situations where it makes sense to remove your MacBook's screen, but the biggest and most obvious one is when your display is broken or cracked.

Nowadays, we rely on our devices to store a lot of sensitive data. Smartphones now house our photos, documents, passwords, bank card information, and more. The best iPhones and best iPads can store hundreds or thousands of photos, videos, apps, and more. But that also means that you could potentially lose several gigabytes of invaluable data if your device is damaged or stolen.

Did you miss out on the news this week? If you did, there were some really good parts for Apple fans as the company announced several products during its Let Loose event. But even if you're not interested in new iPads, we still saw a ton of cool Raspberry Pi projects. So, here are all the cool news stories we saw this week.

Both Nvidia and AMD offer utilities that let you relive your favorite in-game moments, be it an unbelievable 1v1 that you may have pulled off against your foes, or simply just your teammates' fumble. AMD GPU users can take advantage of the AMD Adrenaline software, whereas those with an Nvidia graphics card can rely on the ShadowPlay features offered within the GeForce Experience software to capture screenshots, record gameplay, and stream their gaming sessions online.

Network-Attached Storage (NAS) systems are a godsend when it comes to storing and sharing large chunks of data with all your devices. Most NAS enclosures have more hard drive bays than even a gaming PC because you may require a lot of storage capacity depending on your workload. Heck, even if you don't need plenty of HDDs for your day-to-day tasks, you can still run some extra hard drives in RAID mode to improve the overall read/write speeds and protect your data from drive failure and corruption.
