Right now, Nvidia is the king of AI hardware. The company didn't perform any shady or underhanded tactics to claim its spot; instead, it was the manufacturer with the best AI processing hardware on the market during the initial AI boom. Companies like Microsoft and OpenAI found themselves purchasing Nvidia hardware to power their AI services, which caused the graphics giant to overtake both Amazon and Google on the stock market. However, companies aren't so keen to stay a slave to Nvidia hardware for long, as they're banding together to cut ties with the company and forge their own way.

A few days ago, Roku subscribers were shocked to discover that some of their accounts had been compromised. There were a lot of elements that caused the hacks to occur, including Roku's security measures not being up to par to prevent hacking attacks. However, the main cause of the attack was due to what's called "credential stuffing," where a hacker takes account information leaked elsewhere and tries the same username and password combination on other websites.

Microsoft Teams is one of the most popular online communication and collaboration tools out there. Although it caters more to commercial customers, the Redmond tech firm also offers other SKUs to reach more audiences. Recently, we also discussed how Microsoft's recent attempt at the unification of the Teams app for personal and business use is a step in the right direction, but more needs to be done. Now, the company has noted that it is working on a visual refresh for the free Teams personal app in Windows 11.

Anyone can purchase copies of expensive garments online that arrive at record speeds to their home, and for a fraction of the original price. GPT-5 has been a hot topic for quite a while now, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently made comments regarding the future of the GPT model on Lex Fridman's podcast. Following years of complaints, Chrome version 124 will finally support contrast and gamma values from the Windows ClearType Text Tuner for text rendering in Google’s browser.This change should mean Chrome will finally match the improvements Microsoft made to Edge for font and text rendering, so you can apply text contrast enhancements and gamma correction to improve the readability of text on webpages.
