It's no secret that the recent leaps in AI, including ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion, are impressive. They can create text, images, video, and more, all based on a text prompt, with little user input at all. The other thing they have in common is that they all run in the cloud, so they're on somebody else's computer, and can be expensive once subscription fees are taken into account. To save some money, many AI tasks can run on your home computer, from LLMs to the datasets that train them.

Overclocking is the method of configuring a component inside your PC, usually the processor, to run faster than what's set by the manufacturer. It's a good way to take a less capable CPU and achieve better results in games, running software, and general computing. But with higher clock speeds offered by AMD and Intel for the latest Core and Ryzen processors, is overclocking even worth it in 2024? The latest and best CPUs are designed to run at higher temperatures to process as many instructions per second, so is there any room for manual overclocking?

The latest challenger to the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally, the MSI Claw, is the first portable gaming device to feature Intel's Core Ultra processors, making it rather unique. While sticking the Claw in a dock might seem counterintuitive, there are plenty of perks to getting one. A dock lets you conveniently charge your MSI Claw, so it's ready to go when needed. The additional USB ports also let you use a controller if you don't want to hold your console for hours on end. You can also use this setup to connect the Claw to your TV or work setup, so you can sneak in some Baldur's Gate 3 if you have a compatible controller. Still, if you want to maximize your gaming experience, here are some great docks to choose from.

Google’s I/O 2024 conference is set for May 14th, when the company will likely talk a lot about AI again. Windows 11 is arguably the best version of Microsoft's operating system yet, but it isn't without its flaws. Until recently, one of those flaws was that the taskbar regrouping feature was removed, meaning icons of the same app on the taskbar will be combined, making it harder to choose the window you want right away. Thankfully, starting with Windows 11 version 23H2, this capability has been brought back, so you can enable it if you want.

When it comes to gaming handhelds, there's a ton of competition, but that doesn't mean the new MSI Claw isn't an impressive machine. But if you pick one up, you might want to do some gaming with it on a traditional controller. During the FediForum conference on Tuesday, Meta’s Peter Cottle showed off a brief demo of how users will eventually be able to connect their accounts and posts to the fediverse. The integration will let users share their posts across different platforms through Threads, letting them reach multiple audiences at once.
