Across X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and Reddit, people are seeing the update roll out in countries including the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, and Portugal. While many are updating from the beta version of One UI 6, some are receiving a larger 3GB patch to update from the stable version of One UI 5.1. Only a handful of smartphone manufacturers bundle their phones with a charger these days, forcing you to go on a hunt to find the best chargers. Thankfully, there is no shortage of chargers on the market, and they're readily available to purchase. It also helps that most modern devices — including many of the best laptops and top smartphones — support USB-PD, meaning you can use a single charger to power all your compatible devices.

Although many users pick up a Chromebook because of the simple browser-based experience, there's much more you can do if you're a more advanced user. You can join the Beta or Dev channel or enable Chrome Flags to try out new features before they launch. If you're a developer, you also can put your Chromebook into Developer Mode, to install applications, and get deeper access to the ChromeOS system.

Subscribers have reported that the update includes the ability to upload files and work with them, as well as multimodal support. Basically, users won’t have to select modes like Browse with Bing from the GPT-4 dropdown — it will instead guess what they want based on context. The new features bring a dash of the office features offered by its ChatGPT Enterprise plan to the standalone individual chatbot subscription. Google announced in a developer blog post last week that Credential Manager, a new Android-specific API for storing credentials like username and password combinations and passkeys, is going public on November 1st. Credential Manager, which has been in developer preview for months, houses biometric authentication of passkeys, traditional passwords, and federated identity login under one roof in Android phones.Ultimately, the change should allow apps to offer better authentication support in Android 14.
