On Tuesday, Google confirmed in a Chrome stable channel update that it “is aware that an exploit for CVE-2023-6345 exists in the wild.” The vulnerability was discovered on November 24th by two security researchers working within Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG). Developer Mozilla has announced that from December 14th, any extension marked as “Android compatible” on Mozilla’s add-ons site will be available to download and use with Firefox’s Android app.Although extensions have been available for use with Firefox on Android for over a decade, for the past three years users have had a limited selection to choose from after Mozilla rebuilt its Android app in 2020. Whether it's the sales figures collected by research firms, Samsung's own marketing claims, or my own personal anecdotal experience from seeing what phones people use in multiple countries, it's clear the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 was a big hit, and perhaps the first foldable phone to achieve mainstream status instead of being a niche, enthusiast-only device.

The last time I used a gaming laptop as my primary machine was in 2019. I ditched it in a couple of years to build a gaming PC, and never looked back. I occasionally use gaming laptops that show up on the test bench for review, like the Lenovo LOQ 15 and the Alienware m16 R1 that I reviewed recently, but I really don't see myself buying a gaming laptop anytime soon. Apple no longer pushes updates to macOS Mohave, as it reached the end of support a couple of years ago. However, that didn't stop Steam from continuing to support macOS Mohave and earlier all these years, giving users access to a vast catalog of games. During the AWS re: Invent conference, AWS vice president of database, analytics, and machine learning Swami Sivasubramanian announced Model Evaluation on Bedrock, now available on preview, for models found in its repository Amazon Bedrock.
