The PlayStation Plus service is arguably one of the best values on a subscription service for people that enjoy playing games on platforms like PlayStation 5. On the higher tiers, players have access to a number of recent releases and classic PlayStation games that are readily available to download, with more that are periodically added. In the most recent update for PlayStation Plus, subscribers finally have access to one of the most legendary fighting games to release on the original PlayStation console.

I've been using Ubuntu for a long time, from when I installed it for the first time in my college days to learn programming. It gives me the stability and open-source freedom that's not possible on Windows or macOS. Also, it's one of the distros that runs well on my older laptop, gives me total control over what gets installed, and doesn't force me with unnecessary prompts (also, it's free).

As someone who has never been fond of extraction shooters, I've had plenty of reasons. First, there's no 'real' sense of progression — drop in, do some looting and raiding, engage in fights, and repeat. Second, the plot is seldom fleshed out, especially when the bar for narratives in gaming is set so high. Still, it's also been easy to see why others like the genre, and why this space in gaming has blown up so much ever since Tarkov birthed it.

Did your Stream Deck sprout a red “Device Not Supported” badge where a button used to be? If so, you were probably using BarRaider’s popular plug-ins, which apparently check to see if StreamDeck.exe is digitally signed — and it just so happens that Elgato’s digital signature expired yesterday (see image below). But as of 5PM ET, closing and re-opening the app should fix it, as long as you log into Elgato’s marketplace first (inside your Stream Deck app) so it can update the plugin.My colleague Richard Lawler and I just checked, and everything’s working smoothly. The Switch 2 console has now surpassed 10 million sales. The Switch 2’s popularity has exceeded even Nintendo’s anticipations, with the company raising its sales forecast for the console by more than 25 percent. In its latest earnings release, covering April 1st to September 30th, Nintendo now predicts that it’ll sell 19 million Switch 2 units by March 2026, compared to its previous forecast of 15 million.The Japanese gaming giant reports that 10.36 million Switch 2 consoles have been sold so far following its launch in June, with 4.54 million sales falling under its latest earnings period. 20.62 million Switch 2 games have also been sold since launch, though Nintendo has only raised its Switch 2 game forecast from 45 million to 48 million.The combined hardware and software sales are driving a 110 percent surge in revenue, which increased to ¥1,099.5 billion (around $7.1 billion) between April and September, compared to ¥523.2 billion (around $3.4 billion) for the same period last year. Nintendo also increased its end-of-year sales forecast to ¥2,250 billion (around $14.6 billion), and said it’s taken US tariff measures into consideration for these revisions.While the Switch 2 is the fastest-selling game console of all time, the first Switch console is also still creeping up in sales. The Switch has now hit 154.01 million lifetime sales, just shy of the 154.02 million total units sold for the DS, which still reigns as Nintendo’s most successful console. After dethroning the DS, the Switch then just needs to surpass 160 million sales to become the best-selling console of all time — a record set by Sony’s PlayStation 2 last year. By comparison, the Wii U sold just 13.7 million units over its entire lifetime, a figure that the Switch 2 is pretty much guaranteed to surpass before its first birthday.

After all, gaming laptop components put out a lot of heat, require robust cooling solutions, and you want a larger screen to be able to see more detail in your games.
