It was over an hour of new insight into what Nintendo has planned now that the Switch 2 is finally out and going into its first holiday season. While most people are eagerly awaiting the release of major titles like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the start of 2026 is looking to be even more exciting for Nintendo fans.

The Trump administration’s crackdown on perceived left-wing threats following the death of Charlie Kirk continued on Monday evening, with Donald Trump announcing an executive order titled “Designating Antifa as a Domestic Terrorist Organization.” The order directs federal departments and agencies to “investigate, disrupt, and dismantle any and all illegal operations — especially those involving terrorist actions — conducted by Antifa or any person claiming to act on behalf of Antifa, or for which Antifa or any person claiming to act on behalf of Antifa provided material support.”The impact of the order is unclear, as experts have noted that “domestic terrorism” isn’t recognized or sanctioned in the way foreign terror groups are. Additionally, “antifa” is an unstructured anti-fascist movement, as Trump-appointed former FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress in 2020 that antifa was not an organization, but a “movement or ideology.” Trump first said he would sign the order on Truth Social last week.Today’s order claims that “Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government,” with “coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists.”Since Kirk’s shooting, there have been Republican commentators, politicians, and public officials calling for civil liberties crackdowns targeting speech and donations to liberal political causes. Today’s order goes hand in hand with the campaigns targeting employers, Big Tech companies, and late-night talk show hosts.

Having a memory worse than a goldfish while studying a major full of memorization-heavy courses every semester isn’t exactly the best combo. Unfortunately, that’s the combination I’ve been stuck with. I've tried every study technique there is, and only one really works best for me when I'm dealing with courses where I need to retain a lot: flashcards.

When one mentions an AMD Threadripper CPU and efficiency in the same sentence, it can draw some raised eyebrows. How on earth can a 64-core beast like the Threadripper 9980X be anywhere near efficient with a TDP alone of 350W? You can expect this CPU to draw up to 400 watts of power through the socket at stock settings, but after using it in place of a few used enterprise rack servers, I've discovered it to be incredibly efficient, even compared to a few mini PCs.

Bluetooth dongles are pretty cheap devices, and nowadays, many PCs have them built in. However, as I've consolidated a number of my self-hosted services into one machine, the migration process has come across a few hiccups along the way. Windows updates often land with all the fanfare of a software license agreement. Games like Hollow Knight: Silksong can scratch a particular itch for gamers who want to experience something they can get deep into. But at the same time, it can still offer a challenge for them to overcome, rather than graciously play through with ease. Like many other metroidvania titles that have come before it, Hollow Knight: Silksong has a good balance of exploration and trial by fire that fans of the genre can really get behind. For those who have already played through Hollow Knight: Silksong and want to see more games like it, there are still plenty of other releases to check out that offer something similar.
