There are just way too many choices in 2025 when it comes to mechanical keyboards. While it used to be pretty niche, you can now expect full lineups from major brands, and even find cheap and affordable options from companies that are lesser known. So, as you can imagine, it makes it pretty hard for one product to stand out, unless you're adding some features that are less common.

Apple’s new, anodized aluminum iPhone 17 Pro phones have drawn attention for reportedly being easy to scratch around the camera “plateau,” and iFixit has investigated the issue in microscopic detail in its teardown video for the phones.Here are some pictures showing just what those scratches look like under a digital microscope: iFixit talked to David Niebuhr, an engineer and professor of mechanical engineering, who has an explanation for why scratches around the iPhone 17 Pro’s camera plateau stick out so much with spalling damage that didn’t appear in tests of other areas. According to Niebuhr, the problem is the sharp edge of the camera bump where the anodization process isn’t as even, as he says, “Apple could have prevented this by making a more gradual curve and avoiding a relatively sharp corner.”iFixit adds that unless you put your iPhone 17 Pro in a case, the camera plateau is “probably going to see some damage” at some point during its lifetime. As for repairability, iFixit gives Apple credit for a screwed-in battery, but criticized requiring users to remove the screen for most repairs — something Apple avoided on the new iPhone Air.

Gearbox Software is delaying the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4, which had been set to release on October 3rd, to give the game “additional development and polish time.” The studio will provide new release timing “once we’ve fully adjusted our plans” and all digital preorders will be canceled.“We do not take this decision lightly, but are committed to ensuring we deliver the best possible experience to our fans,” Gearbox says. With home gaming consoles having a greater focus on digital downloads, the need for more hard drive space will always linger around. But even with the biggest hard drive connected to your console, eventually, you'll be forced to delete some content off of it. New games are getting larger in file sizes and taking up more space on platforms that already offer large hard drives for people to store their content. And as more new titles are developed and get updated long after their initial release, they'll hog up even more gigabytes of space.
