PC gaming will survive the DRAM crisis, but I’m worried about what happens next
It's easy to get wrapped up in the doom and gloom of the current DRAM crisis. DRAM is in everything, and it's not just PCs that will take the hit, but consumer electronics, consoles, and even cars are all affected, too. With that said, I don't buy into the fears that the industry will seize the moment to push consumers towards cloud gaming software as a service (SaaS) platforms. I'm still worried about the state of the technology industry in general, but gaming is only a small part of it.
