Looks matter too: 4 PC components where I prioritize design as well as performance
While conventional wisdom states that performance and value should be the sole criteria for choosing PC components, I can't help but throw looks into the mix, at least for some of the parts. A PC isn't just a means to an end. It's more than a tool; it's a machine we build because we like the journey as much as the destination. If I have to look at my build every day, I want it to look the way I want. That doesn't mean I'm blowing my budget on overpriced components for fancy designs. That said, I value looks enough to pay slightly more for a component that fits better into my chosen theme. It could be the colorway, build quality, lighting, or overall design language that does it for me.
