Pocket is gone, and my favorite alternative isn’t Instapaper or Raindrop — it’s something you’re not expecting
Mozilla shut Pocket down in July 2025, and by October the export window closed and any data left in there was wiped. That's over a year ago at this point, and people are still asking what to switch to in the read-later corners of the internet. The two names that come up first are Instapaper and Raindrop, and I think both are reasonable alternatives. However, I've been using something completely different, it's not even marketed as a read-it-later app, but if you actually look at how I've been using Pocket, it makes complete sense.
