Whenever Claude Code finishes a build, it will let you know, and the file usually opens and will mostly work. What it doesn't tell you is what's off with the first look, and if you don't actually write code, like me, then there isn't much to check it against. When Amazon announced that it would be pulling support from the older Kindle models, people considered using third-party tools to put books on them. However, as time went on, people discovered that these devices, despite their age, still make for a pretty amazing e-ink display when jailbroken. Such is the case of this project that turns a 6th-generation Kindle Paperwhite into a desk assistant, which shows just how capable these 2010-era devices are.

Linux runs nearly everything I need now, and for that reason, it's my daily driver OS. There are exceptions, and they're almost exclusively games that require an anti-cheat client that doesn't play well with Linux. These are games like EA Sports FC 27, Escape From Tarkov, Battlefield 6, and most other competitive games. Those games also happen to be some of my most played titles, which is why I've kept around a Windows install on a second drive for the better part of a couple of years.

For years, 16GB of RAM was the easy recommendation. Somewhere in the past five years, though, 32GB became the new baseline, and rightly so. With almost every peripheral demanding an app of its own on your PC to be open, browser bloat running unchecked, Windows hardly getting lighter, and modern games being bigger than ever, 32GB is inarguably the sweet spot when it comes to PC building in 2026.

I've naturally come to lean toward typing my notes out because of the nature of my job. However, I still prefer handwritten notes for anything I really want to think through. There’s just something about scribbling messy thoughts onto a page, circling things, drawing arrows between ideas, and squeezing extra notes into whatever space is left that typing has never managed to replicate for me.
