VSCO is taking on Adobe with a new Studio Pro editing app rolling out today on iOS and coming to macOS later this year, as Bloomberg reports. At launch, the app offers tools for batch editing, style matching from a reference image, and sharing images through VSCO Galleries. I've never been a fan of the Start menu in Windows 11 because it always felt like a mix of what I want and what Microsoft thinks I want. The Recommendations section, for example, was supposed to help me get back to recently opened files and apps, but I never really found it helpful. Most of the time, I know exactly what to open before I bring up the Start menu, so I just need to type a few letters, hit Enter, and move on. On top of that, I never liked how Windows mixed web results into my searches, which only added to the clutter.

Over the past few months, I've been trying to replace as many of the browser extensions I use daily as possible with a local LLM. To my surprise, I've managed to replace quite a few of them while also adding functionality that those extensions never offered in the first place.

With how fast AI companies have been iterating, we're now at the point of this technology where all the feature launches sound like variations on the same thing.
