Claude has become one of my most-used productivity tools. I use it for research, brainstorming, planning, and countless small tasks throughout the week. Like many people, I initially focused on finding better prompts, saving useful templates, and learning different prompting techniques. Over time, though, I realized that improving my results wasn't really about collecting more prompts. It was about changing how I approached the entire process.

Local AI perhaps represented the first step towards making AI use private, confidential, and independent of cloud infrastructure, but there was always a catch. In the earlier days, running capable models locally either meant owning flagship-class GPUs or accepting outputs that couldn't compete with cloud alternatives. I have used Raspberry Pi boards for years. They remain one of the easiest ways to get started with self-hosting, home automation, and small server projects. My experience with Raspberry Pi boards has generally been positive, but they come with a few limitations. Performance can become a bottleneck once you start running multiple services.
