In the tech community right now, it feels like there's a massive wave of ultra-settings fatigue. Between unoptimized PC ports, VRAM anxieties, and the sheer cost of flagship cards as well as other PC components, users are begging for someone to tell them it's okay to slide that graphics preset down to high. Booting up a new, highly anticipated game or even a recent 2025 or 2026 release and then immediately cranking everything up to Ultra feels like an instant reaction for many. As a result, you'll watch the frame rate tank into the choppy 40s and come to a realization and an immediate spiral of "Do I need a new GPU?" followed by the epiphany: "What if I just change the settings?"
