Back in 2012, the progenitor Raspberry Pi board brought the Arm architecture to the forefront of the SBC market. Since then, Arm devices have ruled the Single-Board Computer domain with an iron fist, with most manufacturers utilizing the energy-efficient architecture in their offerings.

Most of us spend hours on the internet daily and trust our browsers with our sensitive information. The truth is that most browsers track our online activity and use our information to create profiles about our interests, spending habits, and other personal details we'd rather keep private. They then sell our information to third parties, who'll use it for targeted advertising to get more money from us.

If not, you probably don't recall when Microsoft cruelly wrenched the hotkey out of our hands in a bid to get people using the then-new Copilot key on keyboards. However, since then, Microsoft has reneged on the Copilot key, allowing users to rebind it to perform other jobs. Now, it appears that the company is experimenting with giving us the Win + C shortcut back, alongside some options for changing what it does.

Anne Wojcicki, 23andMe’s co-founder and CEO, announced on X that she has resigned with immediate effect to become an independent bidder for the company, with chief financial and accounting officer Joe Selsavage stepping in as interim CEO.“After a thorough evaluation of strategic alternatives, we have determined that a court-supervised sale process is the best path forward to maximize the value of the business,” Mark Jensen, chair and member of the Special Committee of the Board of Directors, said in a statement. “We expect the court-supervised process will advance our efforts to address the operational and financial challenges we face, including further cost reductions and the resolution of legal and leasehold liabilities.”23andMe is best known for its at-home gene testing kits that use a customer’s saliva to dig into their ancestry. The company was briefly valued at $6 billion after going public in 2021, but has since plummeted to $50 million after failing to turn a profit. It settled a lawsuit for $30 million in September that alleged the firm had failed to protect the data of almost seven million customers during a data breach in 2023, and announced in November that it was cutting 40 percent of its workforce.23andMe says that it intends to “continue operating its business” throughout the bankruptcy proceedings and that customer’s access to data and subscriptions won’t be affected.“We have had many successes but I equally take accountability for the challenges we have today,” Wojcicki said. “There is no doubt that the challenges faced by 23andMe through an evolving business model have been real, but my belief in the company and its future is unwavering.”

Arc is the latest entrant in the world of browsers. The Browser Company’s new browser aims to reinvent web browsing for the modern Internet, and it has managed to garner quite a user base and popularity. I didn’t buy into the hype for the longest time because Brave was good enough for me, but a month ago, when I saw a few friends using Arc’s CMD+T keyboard shortcut to search for things, I got tempted. I didn’t fully switch to Arc, but I logged into the browser with my work email and started using it for work tasks. It’s been a month, and I still use Brave back and forth, but boy, does it feel like a downgrade. Arc has its issues, but the features it offers make up for them, and I really wish more browsers would implement these features.

Many fans love the Borderlands series and are looking forward to the next game, Borderlands 4. Unfortunately, these same fans are skeptical about the upcoming sequel, thanks to a short string of bad releases. Because of this, they have been asking for specific upgrades and features to be added to Borderlands 4 to ensure its success. Whether or not Gearbox Entertainment will listen is up for debate, but many have said that these features are required if the developer wants the game to succeed.
