Well, you have to give it to Microsoft; when it sets its eyes on a goal, it carries it through regardless of what happens. Copilot+ hasn't had the best reception, partly due to its flagship feature, Recall, coming under scrutiny from privacy advocates and has now been delayed twice over. So, has the Redmond giant given up? Hardly; in fact, the company is now rolling out AI tools for Paint and Notepad on the Insiders channel.

Back in April, we saw a leak claiming that the Switch 2 would work with original Switch games. It sounded good on paper, but given that it was a leak, it was worth taking with a grain of salt. Fortunately, we no longer have to do that, as Nintendo has publically confirmed that the Switch 2 will work with that huge backlog of games you still have to work your way through.

Some iOS users with the Washington Post app installed may have looked down at their device tonight only to find an undismissable black toggle hovering on their screen, with electoral vote counts in the 2024 presidential race slowly ticking upwards. (On my own iPhone it appears as the dynamic island.) If you tap on it it merely expands to give you more information about the race, along with little drawn portraits of the candidates, which is decidedly not the content you want if you were just trying to find the button to make the whole thing go away. This isn't unique to Google, and in fact, services across the globe are starting to embrace passwordless security paradigms that instead rely on a physical "key" of sorts that you have to get in.
