Microsoft has been transitioning more and more capabilities from the old Control Panel to the new Settings app ever since Windows 8 made its debut, but over 10 years later, Windows 11 still comes with both apps. Recently, the company stated that it was deprecating the Control Panel over time, before retracting that statement just a few days later.

Typically, consoles can take a few years to be emulated, and some are significantly harder than others to crack. PlayStation 3 emulation is still in constant development thanks to the specialized architecture of that particular console, and Xbox 360 emulation is also in a constant development cycle. In the case of both consoles, some games are still unplayable in certain situations. Given that, PlayStation 4 emulation was considered by many to be a difficult one to get working, but ShadPS4 is up and running and already launching games.

Hardware Unboxed has tested the Zen 4-based Ryzen 7 7700X and the new Ryzen 7 9700X (Zen 5) on both Windows 11 version 23H2 and 24H2 and found a significant performance increase thanks to Microsoft’s OS update.On average, Hardware Unboxed found an improvement of 10 percent across multiple games running at 1080p resolution on the older Ryzen 7700X running Windows 11 version 24H2. The announcement was made last week at Samsung Electronics’ Suwon Campus according to Business Korea, and will first apply to TV models released in March 2024, alongside some products released in 2023.The policy extension is a notable jump from the updates Samsung currently provides, which typically address bugs without upgrading the Tizen OS itself.
