When it comes to setting up a smart display in your home or office, Magic Mirror is one of the best options out there, not least because its completely free to use. It also comes pre-loaded with a number of modules like a calendar and weather display that are easy to set up and provide a lot of utility. Windows 11 adoption hasn't been as good as Microsoft may have originally planned for. At the time of writing, StatCounter reports that 70% of Windows users are using Windows 10, while 27% are using Windows 11. It's not great, especially when Windows 10 loses security support in October 2025. So, what does Microsoft do in the face of an adoption crisis? Add adverts, of course. Over the past few weeks, we've seen plenty of handheld gaming consoles enter the market, but they've all tended to be on the more premium side of the spectrum. Just this week, we heard more news on the Zotac Zone and the Asus ROG Ally X, both of which came in at a weighty $800 for a unit. Windows 11 (and any other operating system) works best when it has a stable connection to the internet. The company will reportedly introduce the device at its Worldwide Developers Conference event next week.Apple already lets you save your passwords across your iPhone, iPad, or Vision Pro using iCloud Keychain. The new app would sync the same way but with logins separated into different categories, such as accounts, Wi-Fi networks, and passkeys. Microsoft has included video and audio players with Windows for decades, but Windows 10 and 11 can't play some media formats without extra (paid) packages. Some audio and video codecs require a paid license to use in commercial products (such as Microsoft Windows), so instead of lumping all those costs into every copy of Windows, you might see a link to a Microsoft Store page for a media codec when playing certain files. Fortunately, at least some codec packages might be free for you.
