It's no secret that you can emulate games on your handheld console, but what if you want to go further than that? What if you wanted all the conveniences of a portable console while also still staying true to the original experience? Fortunately, if you're willing to do a little DIY, you can have the best of both worlds, just as this avid tinkerer demonstrated with a portable original Xbox console using legit hardware.

If you're a developer, sysadmin, hobbyist, or IT professional, enhancing your skills in networking can feel like a bit of an uphill slog. There's a very real chicken-and-egg problem of not having access to the most advanced hardware to learn on until you've got the experience to prove you can do so responsibly, which can be hard to acquire without access to a proper setup, advanced features, and examples of how things are done properly in an enterprise environment.

Finding the best mouse possible isn't always an easy process; a quick search will usually produce thousands of results, and sifting through all the different models might leave you with more questions than answers, even when you do have specific features in mind. Perhaps you'd want a wireless connection instead of dealing with a connected cable. If you're a frequent traveler, you might want something small enough to be able to tuck into a laptop bag. Alternatively, you may require a mouse with the right performance to keep up with PC gaming. Or maybe a combination of all these!

We're all pretty dependent on cloud services nowadays, with everything from our email inboxes to game streaming services storing our data somewhere other than on our physical computers. But with that ever-increasing dependency comes inherent risk. Your cloud provider could be using unsafe practices, like not encrypting data, or they could be a smaller provider that might disappear one day. Or it could be both of those and a whole host of other issues you might not think of. To keep your cloud storage private and secure, you need to choose a provider that uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) in their design, and preferably one that also uses a zero-knowledge model so that your data is encrypted everywhere it goes unless it's on your personal devices where the decryption keys are stored.

Docker containers are powerful self-contained apps that transform your simple network-attached storage (NAS) or server into a powerful system. With containers, you can install packages to create a media streaming service, cloud storage platform, home surveillance system, and much more. Ford says some of its NACS adapters could cause issues. | Image: Ford Ford started offering free adapters for Tesla’s Supercharger network to owners of its EVs in February, and now it’s telling some of its customers to stop using them, reports InsideEVs. The company found a “potential issue” that could cause “reduced charging speeds over time” or even damage to the charge port itself, according to a service bulletin it’s sending to those affected.Ford EV owners should follow the link on Ford’s notice to make sure it has the right address on file. If it is, they won’t need to do anything else to get their replacement, but if not, the company says customers need to update their address by October 24th. With Intel having a rough few months, all eyes are on its latest releases to see if it can reclaim some of its lost momentum. We've seen some data on the Intel 200V range (called "Lunar Lake") and the Intel 200S range (called "Arrow Lake"). Now, a leaker has potentially revealed the specs for the regular Intel 200 range, and it looks like the company is basing these off of Raptor Lake chips.

Intel's Arrow Lake family of processors has now found its way to the desktop, where it's competing against AMD's Ryzen 9000 series and Intel's 14th-generation processors (at least until stocks last of the last-gen chips). The Intel Core 9 285K is the new enthusiast-level chip in the lineup, replacing the outgoing Intel Core i9-14900K. Both processors are way more than most users need in their computers, but things like needs aren't the first thing that enthusiasts think about when deciding what to put in their new builds. While both are Intel processors, they require different socket types and, thus, different motherboards. While we have yet to put the Intel Core Ultra desktop chips on our test bench, we have no doubt that it will be a worthy successor to the 14th-gen flagship.
