Their passwordless approach relies on device-based authentication instead, making logging in faster and more secure. Enter the eSIM, a digital SIM card that removes the need for a minuscule card that has to be installed properly. An eSIM works with any iPhone XS, XS Max, iPhone XR, or newer, as long as the phone is being used with a wireless carrier or provider that supports it. Some phones are moving away from physical SIM cards altogether. You should be able to install eight or more eSIMs to a single phone if desired, even using two different phone numbers at the same time.
