Illustration: The Verge Google has had a longstanding ban on sexually explicit ads — but until now, the company hasn’t banned advertisers from promoting services that people can use to make deepfake porn and other forms of generated nudes. That’s about to change. Thermal design power (TDP) is vital when shopping for the best CPU cooler. The Intel Core i9-13900KS is a power-hungry chip that can draw more than 300W of power from the PSU, but after seeing how well the Noctua NH-P1 performed with the AMD Ryzen 7900, I thought "There's no way it could handle the 14900KS, right?" There's only one way to answer whether you can passively cool the 14900KS and that's to put it to the test. In the name of science, I installed the Noctua NH-P1 with no fan and the Intel Core i9-14900KS on our open-air test bench to see what would happen.

Razer is just one of those companies that just doesn't play it safe when it comes to its designs and products. Unlike other companies, it's willing to take risks with new types of products, and while these items can sometimes be a miss, it's still good to see a company out there willing to try new things.

Although it's not quite as widely used in the U.S., WhatsApp is the most utilized instant messenger application globally. It offers a boatload of features, rivaling some of the best messaging apps on the market, and it keeps getting more useful additions with each successive update. However, while some may be happy about these changes, others may find the new features a bit frustrating.

A lot of programs and services have made it to the tech graveyard over the years, and plenty of them, believe it or not, have come from Microsoft. That's right, Microsoft has sunsetted a lot of its products and services in the name of innovation, many of which I have very fond memories of using back in my early days of computing. It's never a bad time to revisit these programs, as they've all had a pretty big role in shaping the programs and services we love and use today.

The company, which just announced shipments of its next-generation laser sensors to Volvo, said that it will transition to an “asset light” business model that will see more of its production outsourced to its partners.
