Microsoft-backed OpenAI is perhaps best known for ChatGPT, its conversational AI model that made waves back when it launched publicly in 2022, and is still highly impressive to this day. Since then, the firm has also unveiled Sora, an AI model that can generate video clips using just textual input. While Sora is yet to become available publicly, OpenAI has now announced yet another AI model, and this time, it's capable of generating synthetic audio.

When shopping around for a new CPU, most people don't care too much about integrated graphics. However, integrated graphics have their benefits in certain situations, especially with features such as Quick Sync.

When people select their AI chatbot of choice, it's only natural that they compare how each one responds to their prompts and opt for the one that answers them best. However, all this comparison is making employees at Microsoft a little irate. In a recent interview, an employee tasked with helping people get to grips with Copilot believes that the reason people like ChatGPT over Copilot is not because the former is more powerful, but because people aren't good at writing prompts for the latter.

Considering the number of great PC gaming handhelds that have been released over the past year, it's hard to imagine that Valve's Steam Deck was the only mainstream gaming handheld not too long ago. As popular as OpenAI's AI chatbots are, there are some things that ChatGPT could learn from Microsoft's Copilot. One learning point was how Copilot cited its sources when it gave you information; not only did it make its information more credible and less likely to be a hallucination, but you could follow the link yourself and read more about the topic. Fortunately, it seems that OpenAI has taken a leaf out of Copilot's book, as ChatGPT will now let you know where it got its information from.

The AI-generated voice can read out text prompts on command in the same language as the speaker or in a number of other languages. “These small scale deployments are helping to inform our approach, safeguards, and thinking about how Voice Engine could be used for good across various industries,” OpenAI said in its blog post.
