Google introduced plenty of new features in ChromeOS 117, adding Android's "Material You" design, adaptive charging, and many more to Chromebooks. In future ChromeOS updates, Google will focus on plenty of other important aspects of ChromeOS, like improving accessibility settings on Chromebooks. And the first batch of accessibility improvements may come in the form of controlling the mouse and keyboard with the face movements.

The number of people paying for Spotify Premium rose three percent to 226 million on a quarterly basis as the streaming service announced price increases across the US and several other global markets. Spotify’s monthly active users (MAUs) also rose to 574 million as of September 30th, a four percent increase from last quarter. Both rises were slightly above Spotify’s forecast. Comparing performance year over year, Premium subscribers were up 16 percent while MAUs were up 26 percent. Spotify says the net growth in monthly active users was the second largest third-quarter increase in its history.Spotify’s latest subscriber figures came as part of today’s earnings report, which covers the three months ending September 30th. Nreal is a well-known brand for AR enthusiasts, having launched a variety of smart AR glasses in recent years, most notably, the first-gen Nreal Air AR glasses, which were received fairly well by consumers at large. Earlier this year, the company changed its name to Xreal after a trademark dispute with Epic Games. Following the name change, the company is now launching the Air 2 and Air 2 Pro in select North American, European, and Asian markets.

Intel's new 14th-generation Raptor Lake Refresh series offers subtle upgrades over its 13th-generation parts. The company has introduced a host of new SKUs, upgrading almost all major CPUs from the previous generation. The new line-up is headlined by the Core i9-14900K with clock speeds that touch 6.0GHz. A quick look at the specification sheet, however, will tell you that it's not necessarily a huge upgrade over the Core i9-13900K.
