The app supports up to eight people in a group video session and as many as 32 in an audio call, both of which will have the same end-to-end encryption featured in its app on other platforms. The app was previously in open beta.In addition to video calling, users can drag and drop files into chats, and the company says the app also shows more chat history. The design, Meta says, is intended to be “familiar to Mac users,” with a UI that better suits the larger screen of a desktop machine. Having released an upgraded version of its Windows desktop client earlier this year, WhatsApp has now launched a native macOS app that the company says will offer similar features for Mac users. Originally conceived as a mobile app, WhatsApp gained a native Windows version last year after several months of beta testing, enabling users to chat directly from their PC without having to connect their phone. Prior to the launch of the native desktop apps, users had to use the web version of WhatsApp to access the service on their computers.

We've been reading rumors about the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro for a very, very long time. Fortunately, these unofficial whispers will soon be confirmed, as Apple has just sent out invites for a special event taking place on September 12 at 10:00 a.m. PT. While the Cupertino firm doesn't explicitly mention the iPhone 15 series, it's safe to assume that it will be revealing these new iPhones on that day.

If you want to get into development, one of my favorite programming languages is Python. It's a multi-paradigm language that supports imperative, functional, procedural, and object-oriented programming. It's wide open, can be used for practically anything, and is a go-to language for many when working in artificial intelligence or machine learning. I use it for a lot of automation, and it's even the language that some of the testing tools that we've used are written in.
