So here's something I learned 30 years too late. Turns out, if you held down Shift while you restarted it, it would do a "fast restart." Instead of going through the full process, it should show the message "Windows is restarting" and then quickly get you back up and running again. It probably would have saved me a lot of time if I had known about it.

Microsoft is facing lots of criticism for its plan to evolve Windows into an AI-powered "agentic OS," and the common sentiment of critics is that it's unnecessary. Time will tell whether Microsoft was right in its strategy to push more AI into Windows, but there are plenty of other problems to fix for the software giant to make Windows more efficient.

I'm still pretty new to Linux, but I have noticed that when a distro comes with a web browser pre-installed, it's usually Mozilla Firefox. Spotify wants audiobooks to be on the same page. Spotify appears to be working on a novel feature that will allow audiobook listeners to pick up where they left off in the physical book. Android Authority reports that version 9.1.18.282 of the Spotify app includes code references to a Page Match beta feature that can quickly sync audiobooks on the platform with their paper and ebook counterparts.Using Page Match will require users to unlock or purchase the audiobook on Spotify, and own either the paper or ebook version of the same book.
