If you've been a PC builder long enough, you've lived through multiple hardware crises. Sometimes, an unexpected disaster strikes a factory in Taiwan, or a cryptocurrency resurgence shoots GPU demand to the moon. Other times, a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic brings the world to a standstill, inflating prices for every PC component you can imagine.
