The new tier will reportedly cost $5 extra and will also come with tools to help users create playlists and manage music libraries.A source familiar with Spotify tells Bloomberg that users will be able to add the HiFi audio tier to their existing plans. If added to the Spotify Premium plan, which goes up in price to $11.99 next month, it will cost $16.99. Bloomberg reports that the add-on will also give users the ability to generate custom playlists for specific activities, dates, and times of year. Both, now known as “Gen 2,” come with the expected improvements to sound quality, noise cancellation, and other fundamentals. Generative AI and other similar technologies are all the rage these days, but it's also important to navigate the nascent regulatory and privacy hurdles along the way. At its WWDC 2024 conference a few hours ago, Apple was especially keen on emphasizing the privacy aspects of its "Apple Intelligence" capabilities in a bid to win consumer trust. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Adobe found itself in hot water with customers after it was discovered that its updated Terms of Service (ToS) allowed the company to train its generative AI models on user content. The firm has now reversed course on the topic.

These summaries come complete with bulleted lists that highlight proposed tasks and other actions. Nintendo Switch users can no longer link the console with their X accounts. | Photo by James Bareham / The Verge As of June 10th, Nintendo has officially discontinued support for the Switch console’s integration with X (formerly Twitter), making it the last of the current-gen consoles to do so after Microsoft and Sony disabled their own access last year. The integration was removed as part of the Nintendo Switch’s 18.1.0 update, taking away the ability for users to link their X account with the console, or post in-game screenshots from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate directly to the social media platform.
