Image: Daimler Trucks Daimler Truck, a subsidiary of the Mercedes-Benz parent company, revealed its first autonomous truck demonstrator that it said will pave the way to fully driverless freight hauling by 2027. The demonstrator is an all-electric version of Daimler’s popular Freightliner Cascadia models. The so-called eCascadia has been fitted with a suite of high-powered, long-range sensors that enable it to “see” its surrounding environment as well as a high-powered computer that can process the sensor data and make navigation decisions. Apple managed to pack quite a punch with its recent event, revealing its latest iPads in just under 40 minutes. Since the introduction of the Steam Deck, the PC gaming handheld market has been set ablaze with new devices powered by Windows. Starting with the Asus ROG Ally (in terms of major companies, that is), we've seen a huge wave of Windows-powered handhelds, including the Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw, and a never-ending list of devices from companies like Ayaneo and One Xplayer.

Microsoft is a bit of a stickler when it comes to Windows activation. As it stands, if you install Windows without a product key, you'll be treated with a watermark on the corner of your screen and will also face some restrictions when customizing the operating system. That said, your PC will continue to work fine for the most part, so it's arguably fair that the company places some barriers for customers who don't activate their Windows using product keys. Now, it seems like the Redmond tech firm wants to go a step further in this area.
