The gaming handheld space is bustling with products that unlock both new and better ways for us to play our favorite games on the go. There's a lot happening in the handheld gaming space, but one thing that caught my attention last week was the news about Microsoft's "possible" entry into the handheld gaming market, which was fueled by a survey it sent out asking people how they feel about gaming handhelds.

Power banks can be an essential everyday carry if you're someone that's always on the go. And while outlets can be plentiful in most situations, having a power bank allows you to charge whenever and wherever, and even most devices without breaking a sweat.

One of the advantages of playing games on a PC over consoles is that you get to push relatively higher frames per second (FPS) in games. Pair a high-end gaming PC that can push frame rates as high as possible with one of the best gaming monitors out there with support for high refresh rates, and you're looking at a solid gaming setup. Not only will your games look smoother and feel more responsive when you get high FPS, but you'll also get a competitive advantage in esports games. Knowing how many frames you're getting in a game is also crucial for optimizing the graphics settings and striking the perfect balance between high-fidelity visuals and performance. There are plenty of ways to check and monitor the FPS in your games on PC, some of which are more straightforward than others.

He previously called it a “crutch” and said any company that relies on lidar for its autonomous capabilities was “doomed.” Well, apparently Tesla is stocking up on crutches. In its quarterly earnings report released today, Orlando-based lidar manufacturer Luminar disclosed that Tesla was its “largest LiDAR customer in Q1,” comprising more than 10 percent of the company’s revenue for the quarter. Illustration: The Verge OpenAI has added a new tool to detect if an image was made with its DALL-E AI image generator, as well as new watermarking methods to more clearly flag content it generates.In a blog post, OpenAI announced that it has begun developing new provenance methods to track content and prove whether it was AI-generated. These include a new image detection classifier that uses AI to determine whether the photo was AI-generated, as well as a tamper-resistant watermark that can tag content like audio with invisible signals. From a distance, Apple's new crop of iPads announced at a "Let Loose" event Tuesday, May 7 might not look all that different from previous generations. There's now a 13-inch variant of the iPad Air and the iPad Pro sports a brand-new M4 chip, but we wouldn't blame you if you didn't think this was a big update for the iPad. However, once you start peeling back the layers of today's event, it becomes clear that Apple made key moves regarding the iPad that signal a shift in direction for the product line. In fact, it's the biggest overhaul to a product category since the memorable MacBook Pro redesign in 2021.

In a filing on Tuesday, the DOJ claims the 31-year-old Dmitry Yuryevich Khoroshev helped make LockBit one of “the most prolific and destructive ransomware group[s] in the world.”Khoroshev has allegedly had involvement in LockBit since it first emerged in September 2019. Over the years, LockBit ransomware attacks have claimed over 2,500 victims in at least 120 countries, with Khoroshev and other co-conspirators allegedly collecting at least $500 million in ransom payments. That means human civilization has likely passed a key turning point, according to Ember: countries will likely never generate as much electricity from fossil fuels again. A record 30 percent of electricity globally came from renewable sources of energy last year thanks primarily to growth in solar and wind power. There are a couple of straightforward ways to activate Windows 11 or Windows 10. You can either use the Settings app or buy a software license from the Microsoft Store.
