If you ask anyone what software they used to listen to music in the late 90s to early 2000s, there's a good chance you'll hear Winamp appear a few times. It was a dependable, easy-to-use player that you could kit out with whatever skin you please, and believe me, people made plenty of themes for this media player.

One of my biggest gripes with Windows 11 is how it feels like a downgrade from Windows 10 in some areas. There are some features Windows 10 has had for years that Windows 11 never got, and it makes adjusting to the new OS a lot more painful than it should be. Fortunately, it seems that Microsoft has finally awoken from its AI-fuelled stupor and is now working away on getting the core Windows 11 experience refined.

It can be really tough to find a browser to settle on if you're not a fan of Chromium, at least on Linux. While a ton of browsers use Google's browser core under the hood, there are a few holdouts like Firefox and its many forks that people can use instead. So, when a browser arrives on Linux, and it doesn't use Chromium at its base, it's worth taking a look for sure.

PowerToys is full of really handy tools, but some of them usually see more use than others. One popular workhorse is the Command Palette, which gives you easy access to other PowerToys tools, your apps, and even commands with a quick hotkey press. Honestly, I wouldn't blame people for downloading PowerToys just for the Command Palette.
