At its “Scary Fast” event, Apple announced a new M3 version of the iMac that is supposedly two times faster than its over two-year-old M1 predecessor.What’s really new this time around is the M3 chip. The M3 has an eight-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, with support for up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. Supposedly, that ought to translate to a much faster all-in-one. Productivity apps, such as Safari or Microsoft Excel, will run up to 30 percent faster. Google has said for some time that it believes the future of online security is with passkeys, which replace traditional alphanumeric passwords. It added support for passkeys across Google services earlier this year, but now, it's positioning passkeys as the default login method for personal Google accounts. Since it's nearly impossible to remember all those passwords yourself, so most people end up using the same password across many accounts or utilizing the best password managers. Apple's family of M3 chipsets is here. Following months of speculation and rumors, the Cupertino firm's latest Mac processors have been officially unveiled. As expected, the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max largely focus on GPU performance and power efficiency, making them an even more tempting option for professional creators and gamers. Customers can get their hands on them through new MacBook Pro and iMac models, which were announced at Apple's 'Scary fast' event.

Despite being a year old, the Surface Pro 9 is still the best Windows tablet you can get. Available in both a Wi-Fi version with 12th-generation Intel processors, or a 5G model with the Microsoft SQ3 chipset, this is a truly fantastic device. One of the primary highlights of this device is its display, a 13-inch panel with a super sharp 2880x1920 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The downside is that it is a pretty small screen, so if you want to be more productive, an external monitor will be almost essential.
